I have to admit, I didn’t really know what to expect when I came here. What is it? A restaurant? A pizzeria? A cocktail bar? A Karaoke Bar? A Game Bar (think Bounce in Holborn)? I’d say… all of the above!
From the moment I walked in, I was overwhelmed with its kitschy-ness, but in a good way. I didn’t feel like it was trying too hard. I loved the cozy rustic ambiance, especially the over sized leather couches that you could get lost in.
The cocktails were delicious- they made them nice and strong 🙂
My friend and I didn’t actually order pizza. I got the escalope melenzanne which I was very pleased with. My friend got a salmon salad which looked great, especially if you are in the mood for a lighter option.
Service was okay-ish.
As we were leaving the karaoke was just warming up. And I’d imagine this to have a great vibe on a Friday night after work.
All in all, I really, really like this place. I had a great evening! Seems like its a bit under the radar at the moment, but I have a feeling that won’t be for long.
